Yesterday I found these antique chocolate molds at the brocante in Honfleur. Heavy, cast iron and coated with tin, the textures and patina caught my eye.
I think they would be fantastic hung on a kitchen wall or leaning on a shelf.
I only chose two of the five that were at the brocante. I would have loved to have purchased them all, but I took the two 'flats' that were my favorite.
Made by the Suisse Chocolatier Merker with a patent stamp of 1947.
What's not to like about anything that is related to C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T!?
I am listing the two vintage chocolate molds for sale on Sunday Brocantes soon!
Stop over and take a look.
Happy, happy Monday!
Bonne semaine mes amis!
Great find and yes who doesn't love chocolate~Cheers Kim
