Vintage ~ French ~ Kitchen

I will share a little secret .... I don't love my kitchen, even though I spend a lot of time there... I know what you are thinking.  Maybe you have been following my food blog 365 French Days or maybe you assume that I must have the quintessential grand, 'to-die-for' French-country kitchen, after-all I live in France!  But the current reality is that we are not yet in our 'maison de rêve'..... and in fact, my kitchen is I am guessing, the size of most of your pantries..... maybe smaller!

Shabby-Grey French bottle rack.

I will have that French dream house....someday.  For the time being, making my current kitchen, small or not into the heart of the home, and a place I can create and feel inspired has been an on-going endeavor since we moved in and I have found that adding vintage pieces found at flea-markets and brocantes has turned my little kitchen into a space that I am happy to use as my office, a place to sit and dream about this summers garden, and even a play-place for Petite Fille (future 'Top Chef'!) when I am not planning or making meals or.......(le sigh)....doing dishes.

Here are a few items that are currently for sale or I have sold at Sunday Brocantes on Etsy.  Little additions or big 'statement' pieces to help you bring French flare to your kitchen.
